Membership Information:
The Outing Club is a living part of our community. We believe our organization builds community values vital to our small town communities way of life. Whether or not you use our facilities or participate in our programs, someone you care about does.

The Outing Club (OC) is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization, founded in 1947 which provides recreational, sports, educational and social programs and activities to all Kearsage area residents and visitors.
With our recent addition of the OCIC (Outing Club Indoor Center) we can now expand our existing programs and offer a larger range of programs and activities for all ages, both indoors and outdoors and year-round.

Membership and participation support is vital to our organization:
|
- Our sole sources of funds are membership, program fees, donations, and fundraising events.
- Membership fees and donations fund 100% of all our administrative and operational costs.
- Program fees help offset specific program budgets (equipment, supplies, uniforms, officiating, etc.).
- No taxpayer dollars go to funding any portion of the Outing Club’s costs.
- The OCIC space is being leased from the KRSD based on usage. We estimate the daily cost of running the OCIC to be up to $3800 monthly, using the total time alloted to us.

- “Member” program fees; “members only” programs
- Email notices and newsletter, program brochure mailings
- Use of our facilities knowing that you help provide for their support and operation
- Annual membership term extends from January 1 through December 31.
- Donations are tax deductible within the extent of the law
- All memberships include parents and their children under the age of 21 years.

In 2008, we need your continued support more than ever:
|
- To pay back our loan that funded the costs of the repair and renovation work at the KRMS facility
- To cover the additional costs for rent, equipment, maintenance and staffing for the leasing and use of the KRMS-New London facility.
- To continue the maintenance of our wonderful Woodward Park facilities.
