VOLUNTEERS
Volunteer, Coaching and Leadership Opportunities

The Outing Club IS Volunteers!
Can you coach or lead a sport or activity, mentor a child’s homework, teach art or dancing, organize a science or math club, or enjoy working with persons in different age groups (preschoolers, youth, teens, adults, seniors)? Do you have a talent, skill, or interest and are willing to share this; or, do you have a program, activity idea that you can lead?

Over the 60+ years of The Outing Club's existence most, if not all, of the many programs offered came about because one or more persons stepped forward with the idea and had the passion and willingness to volunteer their time and efforts to ensure the program's success.  The Outing Club as an organization, supported these people and their programs through promotion, funding assistance, facilities and equipment, philosophy, etc.

We continue to rely heavily on the strong volunteer support that has allowed The Outing Club to flourish. The growth of our organization will continue in direct relationship to the willingness and efforts of members of our community to serve as program directors, instructors, coaches, officials or umpires, and other forms of supervisory help.

The Outing Club says "thanks" to the following volunteers so far for 2008:
